During a review meeting with commercial tax officials at the secretariat, he instructed them to identify areas with a decline in revenue and to maintain strict supervision over the performance of field staff and business transactions. He stated that the department's progress would be reviewed every fifteen days. He also ordered a detailed study and report on the losses incurred due to GST rate rationalization. Bhatti directed officials to take strict action against GST evaders and to ensure continuous monitoring using AI technology. He also called for the preparation of an action plan to improve revenue collection across the state.
