The individual who as accepted the duty of calling others to Allaah must possess certain characteristics to effectively convey the message. These attributes are mentioned in theQur’aan and preserved in the record of the divinely guided life style of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
“Who is better in speech than one who calls to Allaah, does righteous deeds and says indeed I am among the Muslims.” (Qur'an 41:33)

2. Kindness / Gentleness
3. Wisdom
4. Patience
5. Morality
Calling people to Allaah is a virtuous deed which brings great reward. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that detracting from their reward in any way. And whoever calls others to misguidance will have a burden of sin like the burden of those who follow him, without that detracting from their burden in any way.”(Narrated by Muslim, 2674)
