Aberdaron is a small village at the far end of the Lleyn Peninsula. It has a very definite 'end of the world' feel to it. Unfortunately the day I arrived the tide had long gone out, but Aberdaron is certainly worth the long drive to get there
With a population today of just over 1000, agriculture and tourism are the mainstays of employment here. It was once a fishing village and a noted stopping off place for the nearby Bardsey Island which can still be reached today by 'pleasure' boats
