Shot 1/5/2026. This is one of the only remaining vintage elevators left on campus that hasn’t been modernized yet. This elevator is an original Dover elevator with an epic motor! It sounds like it was converted from dry powered to submersible at one time. Or maybe just the pump was replaced. Anyways this elevators can design for some reason reminds me of an elevator at a JCPenney. I don’t know why, but it just does. I hope this elevator remains untouched for a while longer as it has no visible issues and run just fine and smooth. The panel as well seems like it’s at an ADA compliant height.
