Oregon's Bear Camp Road is a seasonal, one-lane road that has been rated as one of the top 100 cycling climbs in the United States - number 1 in Oregon. It climbs more than 4,600 feet/1,400 meters in under 16 miles/25.5 kilometers. Conveniently, it starts just a couple dozen miles from the end of my driveway. Let's just give it a go and see if it really is that tough.
