On 5 December 2019, Tim Moloney QC argued before the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court in an appeal concerning an investigation into alleged crimes relating to the armed conflict in Afghanistan.
Tim Moloney QC and Megan Hirst, as instructed by Reprieve, represent Ahmed Rabbani and two other victims of the US torture program.
In his remarks, Mr. Moloney argues that the Pre-Trial Chamber acted without authority when it assessed the interests of justice and rejected an investigation into alleged crimes relating to the armed conflict in Afghanistan.
