Designing Calm: A Contemporary Home Surrounded by Nature | Noah House
Noah House, designed by Cadaval Estudio in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, is a contemporary residential retreat that responds sensitively to its forested landscape and temperate climate. Completed in 2023, the 400-square-meter home is composed of two contrasting volumes that clearly separate public and private functions while reducing the building’s visual mass. Through strategic orientation, covered terraces, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, the house encourages a lifestyle closely tied to nature. Its material palette—combining concrete, volcanic stone, and warm wood—creates a balanced architectural expression that feels both grounded in place and refined in its modern character.
