Realizing he was going nowhere as a singer, Yuuri disbanding his indie rock band, THE BUGZY, and restarted his career by doing street live alone.

Yuuri sang with nothing but guitar on his lap, sitting on the alleyway. People barely stopped by, but he continued to sing anyway.

Time passed and Yuuri gradually step up his game. Equipped with by better instruments, Yuuri's singing was getting easier on the ears and people started to gather more during his street live performance.

Yuuri turning point was when MY FIRST STORY vocalist, Hiro, approached him suddenly during a street live. That meeting opened numerous opportunities for him, which finally leads to his major debut in August 2020.


But it's not the happy end just yet.

Debuting during COVID-19 era was limiting Yuuri's access to promote and interact with his fans. He couldn't even bid a proper goodbye when he stopped doing street live for good. Moreover, Yuuri's fame surged rapidly, thanks to his song 'Dry Flower', making it almost impossible to do street live without causing a commotion, especially during pandemic.

Now the situation has getting better, Yuuri decided to do what he couldn't before: properly bid a goodbye as a street live musician and move forward as a singer-songwriter Yuuri.

Yuuri held a guerilla street live on Kashiwa Station, Chiba without any announcement beforehand. Following the station regulations, he performed without an amplifier, reminiscent of his early days.

With this performance, Yuuri encourages whoever has a dream to keep moving forward. Even it's just for two or three steps, you're actually getting closer to your dream, and it may comes true sooner than you think.
