Shakespear Regional Park is a 500-hectare pest-free open sanctuary and working farm located at the tip of the Whangaparāoa Peninsula, approximately 50 minutes north of Auckland. It is a popular destination for birdwatching, hiking, and beach activities, offering 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf.

Opening Hours:
Summer (Daylight Savings): 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM daily.
Winter (Non-Daylight Savings): 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily.
Pedestrians have 24-hour access via a side gate.
Cost: Entry is free. Camping and bookable picnic sites for large groups require fees.
Biosecurity: As a pest-free sanctuary, dogs and all other pets are strictly prohibited, including those remaining inside vehicles. Visitors must check their gear for pests (seeds, insects, or rodents) before entering.
