The Defence Media Operations says that Troops have intensified efforts against oil thieves destroying 53 illegal refineries and arrested 81 oil thieves.
The Director of the Defence Media Operations Major General Michael Onoja says that troops of Operation Delta safe, conducted offensive operations in Akwa Ibom and Delta states, arresting 5 suspects.
He also adds that troops of Operation Udoka conducted operations in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo states forcing the surrender of 80 militants and rescuing 8 Cameroonian nationals, with 11 kidnapped victims rescued.
