this run is so insane that im actually working on a description, its literally the equivalent of skycrab’s 6:17 choke. sorry if anything doesnt make sense cause i speed wrote this at 3 in the morning.
run summarized(seems long but i could describe way more than i did):
starts out decent with a 4:35 crossroads, which is in around the 40% percentile of runs. i freeze out at wave 9 so i have to rejoin but we make up time.
chaos canyon is the most insane part about this run. this is the wr for chaos canyon maxmod and may stay that way for several months. first off, wave 11-15 was essentially perfect, a 1:13 from 11-15 is our best time and way above the 1:40 average which we got to good nukes, good rng, good luring and no stuck enemies. wave 17 had a contrapt which takes a while to kill but isnt really timeloss since we can ignore it and it will take chip damage to nuke and die over time, the only thing needed to be done is disarm it. wave 19 is a giant which is free so we enter captain sub 3 minutes, which is probably also wr but then it hits the roughly 3% chance of glitching through the floor, which is why this run wont be beaten for a while. captain instant dying is a 1 minute timesave and we got good greaters. the 4 greater enemies that spawned were 2 jasons, 1 cannon, and 1 beacon. the beacon is free, cannon is timeloss and i miss a few reversals which made it so the run wasnt a sub 4 but at least there were no summons. the jasons could of been killed slightly faster but its whatever. the chaos canyon could of been faster and sub 6 if wave 20 was handled better but it beat the old wr of 5:47 by over 1 and a half minutes.
glass houses 21-25 was also almost perfect. the nukes throughout were very good and rng was aswell. w23 had a mark which i killed quickly and a contrapt that i disarmed quickly, as well as 1 other greater that i didnt notice. w25 had a wizard which is easy with katana and a cannon which took a while to break the back of it but i hit a good reversal which speed it up alot, i think 2:19 21-25 is the fastest split of those waves in maxmod ever. for 26-29 .... ok im lowkey lazy asf rn i dont wanna type that much go watch it yourself .... for 30, vagabond was big and that made it much harder to control the fight and it dashed away alot so in total it was around a 2 minute timeloss. a 9:20 glass houses is good but could of been alot better due to vagabond fight, we had sub 8 minute glass houses before, also glass houses had alot more imperfections in gameplay compared to chaos canyon and crossroads.
for rocket arena 31-35 yeah it was almost perfect just watch it. king got stuck with a strat first try which is crazy since it kept failing for the previous attempts. i coined king really well and the end could of been handled a bit better for around 30 seconds faster in total for 31-35. for 36-39 nukes could of been better so it wasnt the best but a 6 minute enter to drakobloxxer is insane. for drakobloxxer though, we get 4 marks or 5 if equi killed one and i somehow survive by chargebacking 2 of them and tactically killing the other 2 and then just watch the fight yourself. equinoxium being alive would of made it 1-2 minutes faster but its hard surviving 4 marks so yeah, had to solo. i started shaking at drakobloxxer fight when i literally have almost never shake while moving my mouse and i can guarantee that i havent in the past 6 months while playing ci.

theoretical run speed analysis:
2 min timeloss to vagabond bad gameplay, 1 minute timeloss to equinox dying early at drakobloxxer, 3 minute timeloss to me dying at wave 46 so 6 minutes timeloss total to deaths.
around 2 minutes timeloss to imperfect gameplay decisions which idrc about and wont include in my calculations of what pace this run could of been cause gameplay will always have imperfections.
using the 6 minutes timeloss to deaths, if the deaths didnt happen, we lost at wave 50 at 34:00 so 1 more minute to clear 50 and it would be 35:00, minus 6 minutes from deaths is a 29 minute possible entrance to doombringer if no deaths happened this run. doombringer even with multiple imperfections can be completed in 4 minutes including all the waiting time after so this run could of been a 33:00 if we had no deaths, which usually are very easily preventable compared to bad gameplay decisions.
there are alot of crazy things that happened, some of them listed below might not seem as crazy as others or not crazy at all but trust me they are.
