Coventry has a surprising number of historic sites that look lovely in the late-afternoon Autumn sun. This tour of Coventry city centre starts off on Bayley Lane alongside the Herbert Art Gallery towards the cathedrals. Then past Holy Trinity church and through Priory Place to Coventry Transport Museum and the statue of Sir Frank Whittle. Then, we turn back up Trinity Street and Broadgate through to the Upper Precinct which is currently undergoing renovations. Finally, down through the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre and out past the St John the Baptist Church and finishing on Spon Street.
