Daniel Soley – Rumination – (LPO Debut Sounds: Memory Palace)

Описание: Our five LPO Young Composers; Zach Reading, Niamh J. O’Donnell, Daniel Soley, Joy Nkoyo, and Jorge Ramos created five thrilling new works using memory as a starting point, all under the mentorship of the award-winning LPO Composer-in-Residence, Tania León.

We were delighted to collaborate with the Southbank Centre’s New Poets Collective on this project, with five of its talented poets creating their own new works using the same starting point in tandem with the composers, with all artists inspiring and learning from each other along their creative path.

Filmed at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London’s Southbank Centre, these works were performed at our Debut Sounds: Memory Palace concert by an ensemble comprising members of the LPO and participants on the Foyle Future Firsts Development Programme, under the baton of LPO Fellow Conductor; Juya Shin.
