This is my first try at a new video format, so the quality (especially the quality of the editing) is going to be quite low. I did this mainly as a test to see if this format works, so it's far from good quality content. Now, of course, it would be great if you left your opinions about this in the comment section.
In this video, the first episode of the series "Doing Random Stuff", I will be shading two different particle systems. The first particle system is the main one, and therefore is more vivid and bright. The second particle simulation only exists for the purpose of balancing out some of the strong red colors of the first one. It moves slower than the first one and is therefore given some more calm colors, such as blue and cyan, although, with some additional spots of red.
All of the material work was done in Blender, using the Cycles render engine. However, some of the compositing (observable in the before and after at 0:24) was done using other software.
