Week 5 Thursday: Building a Stronger Back!
We are pushing through the second week of the #HypertrophyPhase, and the back volume today was intense! It was great to have Tyson back in the #FieldHouse today to help push the pace on these high-rep sets.
🏋️♂️ The Hypertrophy Layout:
We followed the 4x10 and 3x12 structure to maximize muscle recruitment:
• Main Lift (4x10):
○ Romanian Deadlifts — Building that foundational posterior strength.
• Auxiliary Lifts (3x12):
○ Lat Pull Downs
○ Barbell Rows (Featured in the thumbnail with Tyson at 135 lbs)
○ Reverse Flys
○ EZ-Bar Pull Overs — The perfect finisher that really torched the lats to end the session!
💪 Training for Longevity:
Focusing on big compound movements like the Romanian Deadlift and Barbell Row is how we build the functional mass needed to #MeetAgeWithGrace. Finishing the lats off with the pull-overs ensured we left nothing in the tank today.
