I played this game in December and it took me 2 months before I could even listen to one song from it without immediately crying lol
Spiritfarer is an absolutely gorgeous cozy management game about death. You board your boat and begin your journey to help spirits (all of whom you knew as people in the real world) reach the afterlife. It's an interesting premise to begin with, and god does it pack an emotional punch. For years, my favorite game by far has been The Last of Us, but this little indie game jumped right up to the top of the list to tie with it. It really is just that gorgeous and just as emotional and filled with heart as The Last of Us. Even if you aren't a huge gamer, I highly recommend Spiritfarer.
I've wanted to cover this song for months, but literally couldn't even get through it without tearing up. I hope I did the song, the game, Maude Plante-Husaruk, and @MaxLLMusic justice with this one ❤️
