About the film:
An elderly Rohingya woman reflects on a childhood rich with spiritual education, lyrical poetry, and musical gatherings. Once affectionately known as Ustad-e Kamal Mustafa by her grandfather, she now lives in quiet sorrow after the loss of both her father and husband. As memories resurface, so does her longing for a time when identity and expression were rooted in community. Ustad-e Kamal is a lyrical meditation on memory, grief, and the enduring imprint of cultural heritage.
