This realization moves beyond intellectual understanding into a direct experience where the personal sense of self—the "story" of who we are—begins to dissolve. The talk describes two core aspects of this awakening: the wisdom aspect, which is the realization of emptiness or formless consciousness, and the love aspect, the recognition of beingness or the felt sense of "I am" that is not confined to the body but present in all things. These two—consciousness and beingness—are often experienced separately at first but ultimately merge into a unified realization of wholeness, often described in nondual traditions as sat-chit-ananda (truth-consciousness-bliss). Lisa emphasises that this presence or awareness is not unique to any teacher or individual—it is in everyone, always here, and already awake.
