बिहार में राज्यसभा की 5 सीटों के लिए मतदान शुरू हो गया है। संख्याबल के हिसाब से NDA 4 सीटें सीधे तौर पर जीत जाएगा, वहीं 5वीं सीट पर दोनों गठबंधन जीत का दावा कर रहे हैं और राज्यसभा की इसी 5वीं सीट को लेकर बिहार में सियासी खींचतान दिख रही है। बीती रात RJD और कांग्रेस के विधायक पटना के पनाश होटल में ढहरे, तेजस्वी ने विधायकों से चर्चा की। खबर है कि AIMIM भी RJD प्रत्याशी अमेंद्र धारी सिंह का समर्थन करेगी, लेकिन इसके बावजूद राह इतनी आसान नहीं दिख रही है क्योंकि राज्यसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस को झटके की आशंका जताई जा रही है।

Based on their numerical strength, the NDA is poised to secure four seats outright; however, both alliances are laying claim to the fifth seat, and this very seat has become the focal point of a political tug-of-war currently unfolding in Bihar. Last night, MLAs from the RJD and Congress stayed at the Panache Hotel in Patna, where Tejashwi held discussions with them. Reports suggest that the AIMIM will also extend its support to the RJD candidate, Amarendra Dhari Singh; yet, despite this, the path ahead does not appear entirely smooth, as there are apprehensions that the Congress party may face a setback in this Rajya Sabha election.
