Leapmotor C10 Adaptive Cruise Control Is Not Good Enough

In this video, I demonstrate the most frustrating issue with the Leapmotor C10 from real-world driving: adaptive cruise control.

Rather than just describing the problem, I show you exactly what happens on the road — the constant throttle pulsing, aggressive braking, lack of regen, and uncomfortable behaviour at different speeds, on corners, and in traffic.

This isn’t a lab test or a spec-sheet review. This is real UK driving, covering town roads, A-roads, motorways, corners, hills, and stop-start traffic.

I also explain why I believe this is a software calibration issue, how it compares to Tesla, VW, Audi and Mercedes systems, and why a simple “dumb cruise control” toggle would solve much of the problem.

There is hope though — Leapmotor has an OTA update coming, and cruise control improvements are officially listed. If that update delivers, this could be a completely different driving experience.

Despite this issue, 95% of the Leapmotor C10 is genuinely excellent value for money, and I explain why I still rate the car overall.
