Kevin Mintaraga is willing and determined to share his entrepreneurial expertise with Indonesian technology startups. Kevin founded Project Eden, the first pre-seed investment company in Indonesia which works as an incubator/accelerator for the local young entrepreneurs to launch technology startups.
Kevin co-founded Magnivate in 2008, which grew to become one of Indonesia's leading digital and social media marketing agencies. Magnivate has recently been acquired by XM Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Asia's leading digital agency, a subsidiary of JWT and a member of WPP Group). Magnivate is now known as XM Gravity. Kevin, 26 years old at the time of acquisition, became the youngest CEO within the multinational WPP group.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
