This video demonstrates voltages between 3-9 volts DC applied to a Hot Wheels booster, which is normally powered by two (2) each 1.5V "D" size batteries in series (i.e. 3-volts). The booster has been modified, as shown in my earlier video, and in this case has no batteries, but is being powered by a variable voltage AC to DC adapter.
Note: I was a little disappointed there wasn't a more pronounced difference between the 0.3A and 1A power supplies in this video, but it does make a difference. For example if you look at my track demo, where up to eight (8) cars are circling the oval track at once ( • Modified Hot Wheels Super Charger and Powe... ), the 300mA supply would not have been enough.
