Описание: In this talk, Dr. Ho described the challenges the youth are and will be facing in the present and future generations. Dr. Ho rendered advises for the youth so that they will be able to thrive successfully amidst these global crises. Eric Tatt Wei Ho received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia. He has previously developed a desktop fast robotics system to prepare fruit flies for neuroimaging experiments and microfluidics systems for selecting dendritic cells from blood for immunotherapy applications. His research interests include application of deep learning to neuroimaging, brain networks analysis and low resource electronics and artificial intelligence solutions for off-grid water-energy generation. He is a Founding Member of the Malaysia Node of the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility (INCF) and formerly the Malaysian Representative on the INCF Council for Training, Science and Infrastructure and a council member for the Malaysian Society for Neurosciences.
