Security forces launched a massive counter-terror operation on Sunday morning after receiving specific intelligence about terrorist presence in the dense forests. The joint operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF resulted in the neutralisation of three Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists, including dreaded commander Saifullah. The fortified hideout, carved deep into the hills, was pounded and destroyed during the relentless operation. Evidence recovered from the site includes weapons, ammunition, incriminating documents, supplies, and personal belongings scattered across the burnt structure.
