REVIEW: RAVPower FileHub Plus (RP-WD03)

Описание: This is a review of the RAVPower FileHub Plus. Prior to using this product i used the RAVPower SD Card Reader RP-WD01. I've found the FileHub Plus to be a very nice upgrade.

What You Should Know Before You Buy

PROs
Power Bank: The power bank is large at 6000mAh it should provide you with ample power backup. Previously the RP-WD01 had only a 3000mAh bank so this is a huge upgrade.
Storage Input Options: The Filehub provides inputs for regular USB drives up to 4TB and SD/SDHC/SDXC cards
Portable Router / Access Point / Bridge: Works excellent to connect 1 or more devices to share files and internet connection. One of my favoriate features is the ability to use this device as a wireless repeater and turn a physical ethernet connection into a wifi access point which makes this device excellent to travel with.
Software: Android or iOS apps for easy connection through wifi or connect up using your OS browser
Video Streaming: Using your attached media you can stream your video library to your TV using a Chromecast device. Video streams seamlessly.
Portability: This device is small. Easily fit it in your pocket or bag.
Build Quality: Excellent attention to detail in the build. Not a finger print magnet. There are covers for the ports to block dust. This devices feels solid.

CONs
Limitation on iOS devices can ONLY access the Photos folder on your iPad/iPhone
To charge an device using the RAVPower Power Bank functionality you must turn on the router function on the RAVpower.

Conclusion
= Overall I really like the RAVpower Filehub Plus. It's a really nice upgrade from my RAVPower SD Card Reader with it's larger battery and upgraded internet mode options. I would say if you are in the market for a portable file hub / router this is a great option.
