Cycling Seattle's Lake Washington Loop

Описание: Join me for a scenic 55-mile bicycle ride around Seattle's Lake Washington; via city streets, paved trails, and gravel. This video is a sequel to the video I made last year about riding across the two bridges that span Lake Washington only this time I take the viewer the whole way around the lake.

I ride the Lake Washington Loop multiple times every summer. I live in Seattle, so I can literally ride the Lake Washington Loop from out my front door. For years I've wanted to find a way to share the experience, but photos just do not convey what the journey is like. Now that I've gotten into making videos, I finally found the perfect medium to communicate the fun of one of my favorite bike rides.

Although the ride begins and ends in Seattle, the Lake Washington Loop travels through seven other municipalities along the way: Renton, Newcastle, Bellevue, Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell, and Lake Forest Park. In addition, the Lake Washington Loop takes us through or along the following attractions: the Burke-Gilman Trail, the University of Washington, the Washington Park Arboretum, Lake Washington Boulevard, Seward Park, Renton Airport, Eastrail (Eastside Rail Corridor Trail), and the Sammamish River Trail.
