Viognier grape producing very aromatic white wine full of stone fruits especially peaches and nectarines along with some floral tones such as honeysuckle or spring flowers. The best examples of Viognier grapes can be found on Northern part of Cotes-du-Rhône appellation colled Condrieu. Another fantastic examples of Viognier wines can be also found at the single-estate located with Condrieu region called Château Grillet. There are 64 producers of Condrieu and one of them that was in my glass is Guigal.
