A random experimental concept medley of a video, because I couldn't help myself. I blame tumblr - I hardly even watch this show and I ship them too much. I just had to get this video out of my system, alright? And although I've been recently inspired by the wonderful dynamic between these two, I couldn't decide between two songs and ideas so I combined them into one video.

The vague plot is the Lena catches Kara's eye the moment she moves to the city, but she forces herself to ignore her feelings (#concealdontfeel). After maintaining a friendship with Lena for a while, one night goes on too late and leads to inevitably getting caught up in the moment, and kissing ensues... among other activities. They spend the night together, and that was that --- or so Kara thought. It was supposed to be a one time thing, but she can't get it off her mind.

/ And miss your smile / And miss your laughs / I miss the memories from our past /

Flash forward a few days and Lena visits Kara at her workplace, bringing up the illicit evening in playful conversation. Kara coyly pretends not to recall it but then Lena gives her The Look^TM, and it all comes rushing back in vivid detail.

/ At the end of the night / When I turn off the lights / And the bullshit fades away / I don't wanna go home alone /

Soon, Lena officially discovers Kara is Supergirl, which causes implications as she struggles to come to terms with having to keep it a secret. Frustrated by the suddenly precarious turn their relationship has taken, a frustrated Kara and a conflicted Lena ponder over a montage of the sweet and innocent moments of their past. Now, things aren't so simple. Kara's secret identity being on the brink of being revealed is complicated by the feelings that have grown between them. Lena has Kara's heart, and will surely leave it with scars if she handles it poorly with mistrust. In order to keep her from making a public confession, it seems inevitable that the infamous Luthor will have to be detained in chains...
