Wings of Mexico:
This artwork of Jorge Marin, features a thin metal frame with life sized large wings mounted on a tiered platform.

Through his Wings of Mexico, Marin intended viewers to experience the “dream of flying freely with their own bodies and consciousness, relying on desire, belief and passion.”

It is perfectly placed in front of the Burj Khalifa, creating stunning visual and one of the most famous photo spots for visitors.
It’s worth taking a stroll around, because other artworks decorate the plaza grounds.

Location: Downtown Dubai, in the Burj Plaza by Emaar.
Fees: Free

The sculpture, which depicts bronze angel wings, was first created in 2010 and stood tall in Mexico City.
Since then, it has been to 25 locations.
