This was a hot summer day at Testwood in mid June. The temperature got as high as 29 degrees and bites were hard to get at first . Around 10AM the fish started to switch on and move around and we could see some giant rainbows to stalk.
We all managed to get plenty of big rainbows with Clive getting the biggest of the day at 16lb and Clives personal best. Various Flies worked well on this day , such as golden red stalkers, gold mirage, heavy perch and big flo green leaches.
