Lake Toba is definitely the gem of North Sumatra. It’s the second largest lake in the world after the Victoria Lake in Africa.
There’re also many stalls around the lake side where you can eat fresh grilled fish while enjoying the scenic view of Lake Toba. You must also visit Sapo Juma (a hill top botanical garden in Tongging) to get the most spectacular view of the lake.
