Lufthansa Airbus A319 Takeoff from Frankfurt Runway 25C to Cork

Starts with leaving my room at the Hilton Hotel Frankfurt Airport, and walking to Terminal 1 past the Long Distance Railway Station at The Squaire - I'm trying to include some more shots in my videos from the airport, trip-report/vlog style. For the month of April, instead of the usual CityJet or Lufthansa CRJ aircraft, Lufthansa operated their Airbus A319 aircraft on the Cork - Frankfurt route, and I was eager to try this out - so at short notice, I booked this flight and made a one-night trip! I spent a nice, quiet morning in Frankfurt City Centre, which was extremely quiet with everything closed, being Easter Monday. It was here infact that I heard the news that Pope Francis has passed away. Anyway - it was nice to board the flight to Cork at Frankfurt from a jetbridge rather than getting a bus out to a remotely parked CRJ for a change! D-AIBG is a much newer A319 compared to the one I travelled to Frankfurt on - built in 2011, and has a completely different, brighter colour scheme interior in the cabin. We got some great views of the aircraft parked up at Terminal 2 as we taxied to the Runway. Many aircraft are now parking over in front of the still under-construction Terminal 3 these days. There's a very nice view on takeoff here - an aircraft starts its takeoff roll on Runway 18 as we fly over it in a mostly perpendicular direction. After making a left-turn parallel to Runway 18, we then watch that same aircraft rotating into the sky!
