Here are several mods I made to my 1270 mm Dynam Hellcat warbird. There is nothing wrong with the plane in its stock configuration but I can never leave well enough alone! All up weight with an Admiral 4s 4000 mah battery (400 g) is 2430 grams.
My list of mods include:
Killer Planes 'Super Max' crashproofing kit (thanks Steve and the lovely Denise!)
Turnigy Propdrive 42-38, 750 kv motor with standoffs
Master Airscrew 14x9x3 prop
FMS P-51 Mustang main wheels
FMS type 004 90-degree rotating retracts
SmallpartsCNC retract aluminum side plates
FMS P-40B landing gear struts (5mm wire)
Two panel flaps, connected by the FMS 1400 Hellcat flap connectors
400 gram 4000 mah 4s battery packs
100 amp Hobbywing ESC
