Hello retro gamers and shmup fans. Welcome to another entry in our Just For Fun Retro Run series, this time featuring Hellfire for the Sega Genesis. In this run, we use invincibility and infinite Hellfire missile cheats to navigate through waves of enemies and get the hard ending.
Hellfire, developed by Toaplan, first appeared in arcades in 1990 as a horizontal scrolling shooter with innovative weapon switching mechanics. The game was ported to the Sega Genesis in 1991, bringing its fast-paced gameplay and 16-bit graphics to home consoles. Players control the CNCS1 space fighter, battling fleets of alien invaders across six stages with escalating difficulty.
