The main objective of this subject is to familiarize students with the fundamental concepts of biotechnology with human welfare. The subject is intended for students who have a background in biology and interested in the research as well as tools and techniques for agriculture, environment, food, industry, health and forensics. The intended outcome is to train students on various aspects of development of medical biotechnology, genetic engineering, solving violent crimes, therapeutic agents, waste treatment, enzyme production and the gene molecular basics.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Dr. Avinash Singh completed his undergraduate and post-graduate studies in Biotechnology from CSJM University Campus Kanpur Uttar Pradesh. He completed his doctoral studies in september 2019 and is currently an approved faculty of CSJM University as Assistant Professor at Axis Institute of Higher Education. His research interests are in molecular biology and plant biotechnology. He has over three years of teaching experience at present.
