3️⃣ Law of Evidence – This branch governs what evidence is considered valid and admissible in court. Previously under the Indian Evidence Act, it has now been updated as the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.

Together, these three branches ensure that crimes are clearly defined, investigated fairly, and judged properly, protecting citizens and delivering justice efficiently.
