Описание: Hello guitar players and musicians! When Van Halen’s debut album was released in 1978, Edward Van Halen changed the guitar world overnight. Great rhythm playing, blistering solos, incredible tone…all of these were the hallmarks of the Van Halen sound. The guitar technique that gave Van Halen the most fame was his use of tapping demonstrated in the solo Eruption.
In this video I am showing a tapping exercise based on Eruption that incorporates Eddie’s use of triads in his iconic tapping technique. The chord progression as well as TAB is provided in this video. While I am tapping exclusively on the B string, you can apply this exercise to all strings on your guitar. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced player, this exercise is intended to help you improve your technique in an approachable way.
