The Nieuport N.11 aircraft was a French developed fighter aircraft during World War One. By late 1916 the type was almost obsolete, but many of these aircraft and other types saw action after WW1 during the various smaller conflicts that erupted around Europe, including the Russian Civil war.
This modern replica N.11 aircraft is painted in the colours of a Nieuport N.24 flown by K. A. Rudzit during the Russian Civil War.
The aircraft is shown here during a display at Omaka Aerodrome, Blenheim, New Zealand, where it is permanently based.
