Summary
Damon comes to town mostly to piss off Stefan and meets Caroline. Him and Caroline start going out but he doesn't care about her and compels her to keep his secret. Even though he compelled her to keep his secret she has true feelings for him. Damon starts falling in love with Caroline and realizes hes not good enough for her so he compels her to just remember that he was an asshole and broke up with her. One night Caroline is out with Tyler and Matt and they get into a car accident, Damon hears and goes to the hospital to give her his blood than Katherine kills her. She tells Damon that she remembered how he abused her but she also remembers they were in love. Shes mad at him for making her forget but he is still there for her when she turns. Caroline meets Klaus who she knows is a bad guy but still kind of likes so they start hanging out and Damon doesnt trust Klaus. At the ball Damon gets jealous of Caroline and Klaus and tries to get Caroline away from him, when caroline gets mad he tells her he is just trying to save her life and he loves her. Caroline calls Klaus to come over that night because she is upset about her fight with Damon. Now that Damon told Caroline he loved her and they arent tip toeing around that fact he goes away with Katherine because Caroline is with Klaus. Klaus acts on impulse and kidnaps Caroline because rebekah told him that she still loves Damon. Damon comes back to save her leaving Katherine behind. Klaus goes to Caroline to apologize for what he did because he really likes her but Caroline can't forgive him. Damon kisses Caroline but she gets freaked out and goes inside. Later that night she calls Damon and tells him she loves him.


So this is my first AU which im excited about i worked pretty hard on it even though sony vegas probably messed it up anways i hope you guys like it
