Pickwick Lake is famous for the tailrace/dam fishing in the spring, where 25+ lb. bags of Smallmouth are brought to the scales regularly. I was looking forward to hopefully experiencing this in the second BFL of 2024, but things would go quite differently than I would have guessed!
