Platz nehmen: a series of events on the culture of public debate at Schillerplatz by Academy | Art | Public Sphere, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
"Holding the Line" is a solidarity action for universities in countries such as Serbia, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, which are suffering repressions due to anti-democratic political power structures.
In a guided city tour starting at Schillerplatz, invited guests will visit places in the surrounding area of the Academy that have a connection to the history of one of the affected countries.
