I know that Radiohead, particularly their seminal album 'OK Computer', has been covered so many times by many and varied instruments and ensembles. But I can't help myself. This album was certainly pivotal for me, holding special significance, and powerful memories. I used to listen to it on repeat as I went to sleep as a teenager and it remains up there as one of my favourite albums. This song is supremely melancholy and resolute, as it forms the conclusion from Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of Romeo + Juliet. It sounds so simple, but in true Radiohead form, there are many layers of complexity. The song, for me, has always been hypnotic in its sound and storytelling, and has completely taken me in.
