Описание: SB800 described how our founding was motivated to close the profound equity gaps that disadvantaged South Bexar County and its residents. Much of that long and difficult history can be traced back to the historical impacts of redlining that impacted the Latino community and that continue to impact our neighboring ASPIRE districts—therefore, our collective knowledge around redlining is mission critical. The legacy of redlining is one of our biggest “whys” and A&M-San Antonio is one of the biggest reasons for investment in the south side.
