Discover how MITIS, a Belgian innovator, is transforming biogas into clean electricity and heat with its Micro 10 (M10) micro gas turbine. Unlike traditional piston engines, this cutting-edge technology uses a flameless combustion chamber for ultra-low emissions, multi-fuel flexibility, and minimal maintenance. Operating at 100,000 RPM on airfoil bearings, the M10 delivers 10 kW of electricity and 30 kW of heat—perfect for sustainable farms.
This demonstration is part of VALUE4FARM, an EU-funded Horizon Europe project bringing together 14 partners to enable on-farm renewable energy production while maintaining sustainable food systems. In Belgium, the project focuses on maximizing residual streams for efficient electricity and heat generation.
