In this video I review the UGREEN M.2 NVMe Hard Drive Enclosure. I demonstrate how to assemble the enclosure with a M.2 NVMe SSD. I test the performance on Windows 11, macOS and with a UGREEN NASync DXP6800 Pro NAS running the UGREEN UGOS, which is based on the Linux Debian Distrubition. For the performance tests I use the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test application.
I also demonstrate how the enclosure could be used with an M.2 NVMe SSD that has a heatsink for recovering data or reformatting the drive.
This inexpensive enclosure could allow you to beat the SSD Storage Crisis by reusing SSDs that you already own.
