This unique and exciting sport allows us to immerse ourselves in the thrilling world of medieval fighting techniques and traditions. We like to learn how to fight with real weapons including spears, axes, Dane axes, swords, and shields. Each weapon has its own history and purpose, and we take the time to understand how to wield them properly.
The weapons we use are blunted for safety; however, they are made from real steel and do hurt when they make contact. This is why we wear armor, which not only protects us but also adds to the authenticity of the experience. All weapons must be respected, as they are not just tools but extensions of our martial skills and heritage.
