Love in us keeps growing green and tender
making me experience what as a child I rejected
the most. I have lived barren life with fake and
selfish lovers. They wanted to feast on me
knowing not, that love is patient and you came.

Were not distance that kept us apart those
sensuous men would’ve forced upon me. And the
deserving you would’ve been a visitor. However,
the love that I initially had for them faded
knowing, they wanted my body for carnal carnival
not my heart.

I resolved to love no man, though fully aware I
am a girl in need of a person who will accept me
as I am. The introvert me went into hibernation.
Depression creeped in, trying its hand on me.
I, unaware welcomed it into my life.

It was then, the love of my life came from where
I expected the least. Genuine soul who detected
my suffering, was none other than someone,
amongst my friends. I thought nothing
about us but he altered my world.

Two souls who had gone touring as a
friend, two souls who had shared the same table
once in every week, two souls who had worked for
the same goal became one in love. Two souls in
two states yet one in love. But the saddest reality
is we've a different call.
