This videos looks at why we need to approximate and how we can use different methods to find approximations. I look at Usain Bolts time of 9.58 and wonder if that was his actual time. I show how to round to a certain number of decimal places. I look at significant figures. I have lots of worked examples all explained using clear and easy to understand theory.
