Описание: Even with fair weather and light winds the top of the Transporter Bridge was draughty enough to generate a lot of disruptive sound. You will also hear the occasional crash of recycled glass waste falling into skips. Low tide has reduced the river to a muddy trickle. Despite all this it remains a very special structure and watching the fragile gondola with its fairy-tale ornamentation gliding over the River Usk is a splendid spectacle. A happy marriage of Edwardian heavy engineering with Steampunk fantasy.
