U.S. to assist NEDCO in boosting Ghana’s energy sector

The United States would in the next three years invest 60 million dollars to boost the energy sector in the operational areas of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company, NEDCO. To this effect, the wholly owned VRA Subsidiary whose current operations covers the Northern, Upper East, Upper West and parts of Volta, Ashanti and Western Regions will be assisted by a management team from the US government to actualise the investment. The US Ambassador to Ghana, Mr Robert Jackson announced this in the Upper East, when he met the Regional Minister, Mr. Rockson Bukari.
